When I went after these three abilities for the first time, Yugi v2, Toji v2, and Dio / THE WORLD in Roblox, I learned very quickly that Horizon Legacy’s events don’t always explain themselves as clearly as you expect. Half of the process was figuring out where the NPCs actually stood, and the other half was surviving the bosses long enough to get the items I needed.
This guide breaks it all down the way I personally worked through each unlock: where to go, who to talk to, what the bosses actually do, and little details I wish I had known before I spent an hour getting juggled by Toji’s combos.
Yugi v2 – How It Feels & How to Unlock
Yugi v2 immediately stood out the first time I saw someone using it in a lobby. The visuals are crisp, the hit timing feels responsive, and the reworked animations make the kit feel far smoother than the original version.
When I finally unlocked it myself, the thing that surprised me most was how reliable Yugi v2’s burst damage is — it doesn’t feel sluggish the way some abilities do after their third hit.
How I Unlocked Yugi v2
The whole process begins at Shibuya Event Island, and if you’ve never been there, expect a lot of players crowding NPCs. The first time I went, it took me a minute just to find the right quest-giver because half the lobby was sitting on top of him.
Here’s how my unlock run went:
1. Find the Yugi NPC on Shibuya Event Island
He gives you the questline. If you don’t accept the quest, Gojo kills won’t register. I made that mistake once — don’t repeat it.
2. Defeat the Gojo boss approximately 7 times
This was the part that took the longest. Gojo spawns inside Shibuya Island, but depending on the server, the boss room can be packed. In my case, people kept wiping him in seconds, so I had to hop servers until I found one where I could actually tag the boss.
A couple of things that helped me:
- Gojo’s dash attacks are predictable once you watch the pattern.
- Using mobility abilities helps you avoid getting combo-locked.
- Check your quest updates after each kill — sometimes the server lags.
Eventually, once you clear the necessary number of Gojo kills, the game will mark Yugi v2 as complete and award it instantly.
Toji v2 – How It Plays & How to Unlock
Toji v2 is one of the flashiest melee kits in the game. When I first tested it, the mobility felt incredible — short, sharp bursts of movement and extremely fast slashes. The rework gives it that “assassin dive” feeling without making the controls too chaotic.
When I unlocked it myself, the difference compared to Toji v1 was huge. If you like fast combos, you’ll enjoy this one immediately.
How I Unlocked Toji v2
Once again, everything happens in Shibuya Event Island, but the pace is different from Yugi v2.
1. Talk to the Toji NPC in Shibuya Event Island
He’s hiding in one of the side areas, and it took me longer than I’d like to admit to find him the first time. He starts the Toji v2 questline.
2. Farm the Toji boss for item drops
This boss spawns roughly every ~18 minutes, but keep in mind: that’s approximate. In my experience, the timer doesn’t always align the moment you join a server — sometimes I had to wait a bit longer.
The fight itself is rough the first few attempts:
- Toji’s combos last longer than you expect.
- He has a habit of chaining dashes into heavy damage slashes.
- Dodging sideways works better than dodging backward — I learned that the hard way.
- If the lobby is busy, expect a scramble when he spawns.
The drops aren’t guaranteed, and during my run, it took several kills before I got everything I needed. Once all items were collected, I returned to the NPC and received Toji v2.
Dio / THE WORLD – Both Forms & How to Unlock
Dio is honestly one of the strongest combat styles I’ve played with so far. When I first showcased it, the animations felt incredibly polished, almost cinematic, and the kit itself hits like a truck. It’s a mix of heavy burst damage, full-screen presence, and unique movement.
The Two Forms — What They Actually Feel Like
Dio’s dual forms are one of its biggest features:
- Standard form: The version most players prefer. It’s complete, aggressive, and reliable in PvP and bosses.
- Alternate form: A three-move variant. More niche. When I tested it, I liked the creativity, but the main form feels stronger overall.
Switching between the two is built into the unlock process.
How I Unlocked Dio / THE WORLD
This one required a little more running around compared to the other two abilities, but it ended up being pretty enjoyable once I understood where everything was.
1. Travel to Okaroon Island
Everything begins here. The first NPC you need to talk to is Jonathan, who introduces you to Dio’s mechanics and, later, helps you switch between forms. The first time I visited Okaroon Island, I walked in circles looking for him — he’s tucked away more than I expected.
2. Enter the Castle and Speak to Jotaro
Inside the castle, Jotaro gives you the actual questline for obtaining Dio. This step is easy to miss because people often sprint straight toward the boss room without talking to him.
3. Defeat THE WORLD boss inside the castle
This boss spawns inside the castle itself, which makes the farming loop much smoother than the Shibuya bosses. Still, the fight has a few things worth mentioning from experience:
- The boss has strong knockback — I got tossed around multiple times.
- Timing dodges matters more than spamming movement.
- His ranged stand attacks hit harder if you’re too close when he winds up.
- Farming with a group makes the grind significantly faster.
Drop RNG varies; I got my items after a few kills, but I’ve seen other players farm much longer.
4. Return to Jotaro to unlock Dio
Once you hand over the required drops, Dio becomes available, and the form-switching NPCs activate around the castle.
After unlocking all three — Yugi v2, Toji v2, and Dio / THE WORLD — I can say that each one feels rewarding in a different way:
- Yugi v2 is clean and combo-friendly.
- Toji v2 is fast, sharp, and extremely fun to use once you get the timing down.
- Dio is simply raw power, polished animations, and versatility thanks to the two forms.
If you’re trying to decide which one to farm first, I’d personally go for Yugi v2 or Dio, both feel impactful the moment you unlock them. Toji v2 is amazing too, but it takes a bit more practice to get the most out of it.
